Beautiful Sight

Bristol is as picturesque as it can be. Mountains, lush green meadows, brilliant skies...NASCAR nation in campers and shorts and riding coolers, so on and so forth.

It's also had its share of pageantry, as you can see by the photo here.

They are rather parochial patriots in Eastern Tennessee. They love the flag, and as one recent movie proclaimed, Tennessee is the "patron state of shooting stuff." That was meant as a compliment, I hope. If not, some Hollywood dandy is going to get a visit by some remarkably resolute folks.
