BLOG: Kenseth's Grand Baby Plan

Everybody seems to be focused on the new rules and how they’ll affect the Chase, especially since we’re on the cusp of the first weekend of racing on a 1.5-mile track. If you recall, that’s kinda why NASCAR went to the rule changes in the first place, right?

Matt Kenseth isn’t thinking about the Chase. Not yet.

He’s got another action item on his list: the arrival of another child.

Kenseth said the arrival countdown was “about three weeks,” which puts it somewhere between Auto Club Speedway and Martinsville. Kenseth has a plan, in case the baby doesn’t come on schedule, too. Well, he says he doesn’t, but…

 “I just told her (wife Katie) to have it on a Monday.”

That’s classic.
