CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY TEST PHOTOS

Here are a few images from today's test at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Some 30 cars took part in the test, which was to try aerodynamic changes to the cars to help improve the competition on 1.5-mile tracks. NASCAR's technical staff came up with four different packages to test, and the big field helps with data, according to NASCAR officials.

The first one is of a simulated start, headed by Kevin Harvick (right) in his new Stewart-Haas Chevrolet, and Denny Hamlin (11) in the FedEx Toyota.
