DAYTONA WITH THE ONMC: It Was a Blast!

We’ve completed round one of 20 today for the ONMC At-Track VIP team, and we leave the Sunshine State happy and exhausted.

Starting Thursday, we ran garage tours and Driver Introductions all four days, winding up with a wild Driver Intros for the Daytona 500 itself. Our guests were posted on the entry to the driver’s tunnel for Intros, and we got to see every driver up close, and not a few celebrities, including rapper 50 Cent, Grand Marshal Chris Evans of Captain America fame, and the illustrious Linda Vaughan, the former Miss Hurst Golden Shifter.

Even The Bachelor, Juan Pablo, was there, doing the Bachelor thing with all the young ladies who watched him on TV. 

The great thing about Daytona is, you get a lot of people from all over. We had Members from Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, Illinois and several other states with us this week. Some were old Daytona hands, but many were new to the experience, and those are the best Members to have at Daytona: they get to see the absolute biggest show in the sport.

Our Chase Central winner from November, Kenneth Boyer, was there too, using the two tickets he won in our Chase-long contest. He went on a garage tour with us Sunday morning, and walked away with both the rest of the prize package (a large bag full of Jimmie Johnson swag!) and the experience of a lifetime.

We had a great time with our Members, and we’ll be back at it again come Las Vegas in a couple of weeks!
