Kyle Busch Motorsports today announced that the team owner and brother Kurt would compete together in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, driving a Kyle-owned car for the NNS owner's championship.
Monster Energy is the sponsor of the No. 54 Monster Emergy Toyota Camry, and Kyle Busch will drive 12-14 races, with Kurt taking on the remaining events.
Kyle Busch said sponsor NOS, also an energy drink company, was phasing out its racing involvement, and Monster stepped in with a program for all 33 races.
Ironically, the No. 51 was not available, so the brothers stayed in the 50s and added the number 4, which both had driven growing up.
