MWR CUTS TO TWO FULL-TIME TEAMS FOR 2014

Hard on the heels of the news that Brian Vickers is done for the season with medical issues comes an Associated Press report that the No. 56 Toyota currently driven by Martin Truex Jr. will not run the full season in 2014. 

Sponsor NAPA pulled its backing following the events at Richmond International Raceway last month.

Team owners Michael Waltrip and Rob Kauffman on Monday began telling employees of their decision. Those affected were told they are free to begin looking for new jobs immediately.

Two employees spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because MWR had not publicly announced its decision.
