NASCAR Sonoma 2013: Live Results, Updates and Reaction

NASCAR is heading to its first road course of the season Sunday.

Road courses are an interesting type of track, as they give drivers a change of pace from the normal oval-style raceways. There's plenty of bumping at these tracks, and drivers usually lose their tempers. 

They also have the potential to change up who we normally see run up front. Marcos Ambrose, for example, is a clear favorite to win this race because of how well he runs at road courses.

Sonoma wont be just a test for drivers, though. It will also be a test for the Gen-6 car, as this will be the first time the Gen-6 car hits a road course in the Sprint Cup Series. With the increased speeds we've seen throughout the season, will drivers be able to control the car while going through all the turns of the course?

Given the way road courses can shake things up, don't be surprised to see some movement in the points standings by the time the Toyota/Save Mart 350 concludes.
