NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Pocono: Live Results, Updates and Reaction

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will be competing at the track known as the "Tricky Triangle" on Sunday, but the Pocono race looks like it could be over before it even starts.

Jimmie Johnson managed to not only win the pole, he also set a new track record with his qualifying run. He was the winner here during the first Pocono race of the season, leading 126 out of 160 Laps.

Johnson and the 48 team have been dominant this season, and it's been hard for other teams to keep up. But despite their dominance, they have also been beaten several times this season. They have dominated races, only to make mistakes and watch their massive lead slip away.

Indianapolis last week showed how much a mistake can cost a dominant race team.

It's hard to see the 48 team messing up two weeks in a row, but in NASCAR, anything is possible.

As Jimmie Johnson tries to pull ahead of the pack, the race to the Chase is still heating up, as drivers are switching positions in the standings on a weekly basis.
